graduated from Boston College in 1962 with a Bachelor of Arts in
English. He spent five years in the United States Navy as a line
officer in both engineering and navigation. After serving his country,
Faggiano began a 12-year career in Human Resources at General Electric.
spent nine years as head of HR for two startups in the computer
industry during the explosive growth period in the 1980's. In 1989,
he joined Liberty Financial Companies, a subsidiary of Liberty Mutual.
During his tenure, the company grew from $20 billion to more then
$63 billion of assets under management.
has a Master's in Counseling from Suffolk University. He was elected
to the Boston College Hall of Fame for baseball in 1993. He is on
the MBA advisory Committee at Suffolk and is very actively involved
in both fund raising and the career networking program at BC.
He and his
wife Trish have three children and six grandchildren and are long-time
residents of Reading, MA
